The Best Wedding Perfumes: Zendaya's Scented Soiree

Somebody said on Twitter that Zendaya's wedding is about to be Law Roach's crowning achievement and I couldn't agree more. But as a fragrance girlie I can't help but to think of what wedding scent she'll choose.

2012

                                     2020

As you can see Zendaya has always been a perfume girlie as you can see from this instagram post dating back to 2012. From VS body mists to Miss Dior to Lola by Marc Jacobs, that pretty much sums up the state of perfume in the early 2010s. It's such a full circle moment that she is now the face Lacome's Idôle perfume + their many flankers. The Idôle line consist of fresh, fruity florals with a vanilla base. From this I can see that she's a floral perfume girly which is perfect wedding scent for a few reasons.

First, it's just the classic symbol of love—timeless and elegant, you know? It’s been tied to romance for centuries, so it feels super fitting for a wedding. It's soft but still rich and beautiful, giving off that luxurious vibe without being too much. It creates this perfect balance of romance and sophistication, which is exactly what you want for a day like that. Plus, rose is something that sticks with you—every time you smell it after your wedding, it'll bring back all those memories. It’s just one of those scent families that feels like a forever kind of vibe.

So, I picked out a few show stopping, wedding approved rose fragrances perfect for the bride-to-be that'll make everyone say:

1. Thameen Patiala

Best For: An expensive-smelling aroma that'll take you from day to night.

Patiala is your classic rose-amber with a clean-girl Baccarrat Rouge twist. It opens with fresh citruses and aldehydes and tries down to a sophisticated rose and amber; perfect for a spring or summer bride.

2. Exalte by Funmi Monet

Best For: The fun-loving party bride

Exalte by Funmi Monet is a warm sweet floral that's super bold just like all of Zendaya's red carpet looks. This starts out with a bold burst of lemon and pink pepper and evolves into a luxurious creamy of rose, vanilla, and amber that will be adored by everyone.

3. Maison Francis Kurkdijan A la Rosee

Best For: A classic rose in a classic bottle.

In a world full of Delinas (which we love), A la rose is a classic and timeless scent. This is a photorealistic fresh rose scent as the name suggest. It can come off green to some, but it reminds me of gardening and seeing your freshly planted roses come to life. I'd say it's perfect for spring and summer and perhaps the fall too!

4. House of Bō La Mar

Best For: The Beach Bride.

I could not help but to include La Mar by House of Bō. Although this is not a rose fragrance, it's beachy white florals and coconut instantly transports you to a beachfront destination wedding. The seawater note adds a cozy skin-like cozy touch to the creamy coconut and tuberose that's perfect for a beachfront wedding or honeymoon signature scent.
